So, today I went to Dairy Queen stood in front of all the choices and ordered Onion Rings…lol. I could smell all the ice cream & delicious fruit/nut/chocolate toppings. I even had a quick flash of the taste of DQ ice cream & how smooth & creamy it feels in your mouth. But-NOTHING-no desire to have some. Uhm, come again? You mean it was just that easy? One session with Curtis Duncan & I’m in the DAIRY QUEEN (with plenty of money to buy what I want) and I got NOTHING. Now, coming from a self-declared sugar addict this would seem impossible right? On Friday, I got my very own breakthrough and didn’t even realize it til later. Curtis Duncan, EFT Practitioner, came on Wealth Awakenings to bring this powerful tool to our listeners. Little did I know, that he was gonna tap on just what I needed to hear. I volunteered to do a session on Sugar addiction considering I had just had a cup of coffee–no cup of irish creamer with a splash of coffee just that morning…lol. I had been noticing that I had been really craving sweets the past month or so. However, because I have fluctuated most of my life with weight/cravings/food etc.–I really didn’t pay that much attention to it.
Let’s back up a little & give you some insight. I orginally asked Curtis to come on the show in order to present this facsinating concept to the World really. I learned about EFT through doing the Boundless Living Challenge with Bob Doyle last year. Lots of people in the community spoke highly of it as did Bob–even having a live session for some of the Challenge participants. So, I went to www.emofree.com & downloaded the information…read it…applied it to the best of my ability…and had some success. Later, I met Curtis & sought a consultation with him in order to have more guidance with my use of this powerful technique. Our sessions were wonderful & I felt some amazing shifts in my energy & conciousness.
So, I was bringing Curtis on for the listeners…my mission is to awaken people to the health, wealth, joy, & love that lives within. I want to bring tools, teachers, vehicles for them to do just that. I even remind folks that it all starts with you…lol. How fabulous is it that in my intention to help masses of people…that I help myself the most. Yes, as I sit here now typing this…have no desire for the marble cake with chocolate icing that I baked last week that sits on my kitchen counter…lol.
The real breakthrough came when Curtis’ intuition & experience led him to correlate my desire for sweets with my PERCEIVED lack of sweetness in my life. WOW!! I really felt like he hit the nail on the head & I felt an emotional release. You see, I am a single Mom…haven’t been dating or anything in a while…and had been feeling a little lonely lately. Now, as an exhuberant entreprenuer with lots of wonderful projects happening & I am completely astute in all things LOA…most days I’m out of my body with excitement. I interact with thousands of people all the time and on a personal level was experiencing lonliness…huh?
Yes, the EFT session help me to both identify the source of the cravings while releasing them and acknowledge my sensual feminine side while affirming that all the sweetness I need is here for the taking. I have more than enough. As my outer reflects my inner more and more…I am confident that a beautiful romantic relationship is inevitable on my ascension to my highest good.
